Composition

Each 1 gm contains:

Doxycycline hyclate 100 mg
Gentamycin sulphate 100 mg
Excipients ad 1 gm

Description

D-G IZER 100 is a combination of two antibiotics provides a broad-spectrum effect, making it effective against a wide range of bacterial infections.

Indications

Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic that is effective against a wide range of bacteria, including gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, as well as some types of mycoplasma and chlamydia.
Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that is commonly used to treat bacterial infections in animals.
D-G IZER 100 is indicated for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to doxycycline and/or gentamicin, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine. D-G IZER 100 for the treatment of bacterial infections.

Dosage

For oral administration.
Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 1 gm per 20 kg bodyweight for 3-5 days.
Poultry and swine: 1 kg per 1000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.

Withdrawal Times

For meat:
Calves, goats and sheep: 14 days.
Swine: 8 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
Not for use in animals from which milk or eggs are produced for human consumption.
