Marbocin-10%
Each 1 ml contains:
Marbofloxacin : 100 g
Marbofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone exhibiting bactericidal activity via inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase. Cattle: Respiratory infections associated with susceptible Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Mycoplasma bovis and Histophilus somni. – Acute mastitis due to susceptible Escherichia coli.
Pigs: Respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible Actinobacillus
pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Streptococcus suis.
Cattle: 2 mg of marbofloxacin/kg body weight
(corresponding to 1 ml Marbocin-10% per 50 kg body weight) as a
subcutaneous(SC) or an intramuscular (IM) injection once daily for 3 – 5 days. The treatment for acute mastitis is 3 days intramuscularly (IM). The first injection may be administered intravenousy (IV).
Pigs: 2 mg of marbofloxacin/kg body weight (corresponding to 1 ml Marbosan-100 per 50 kg body weight) once daily by intramuscular (IM) injection for 3 days.
Cattle: – Meat and offal: 6 days. – Milk: 36 hours.
Pigs: – Meat and offal: 4 days.
STORE IN A DRY, DARK PLACE BETWEEN 8 °C AND 25 °C.
