C-D IZER is a combination of Doxycycline and Colistin both antibiotics used for the treatment of bacterial infections in farm animals and poultry.
The combination of these two antibiotics provides a broad-spectrum coverage and is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections in farm animals and poultry. Doxycycline is commonly used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, enteric infections, and skin infections.
Colistin is commonly used to treat infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Salmonella, and Klebsiella.
C-D IZER use for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by bacteria like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine.
Each 1 gm contains:
Doxycycline 50 mg
Colistin 500.000 I.U.
Excipients ad 1 gm
For oral administration.
Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 1 gm per 40-60 kg bodyweight for 4-5 days.
Poultry: 1 Kg per 4000 litres of drinking water for 4-5 days.
Swine: 1 Kg per 4000 litres of drinking water for 4-5 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.
MEDOXICOL 200 is not for use in animals from which milk or eggs are produced for human consumption.
For meat:
Calves, goats and sheep: 14 days.
Swine: 8 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
