Erythromycin is a macrolide antibacterial agent that is used in veterinary medicine to treat a variety of infections in farm animals and poultry. It is effective against a range of gram-positive bacteria, including Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., and Corynebacterium spp.


ERTRUTH 35% powder is commonly used in veterinary medicine for oral administration to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is used to treat respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.


Each 1 gm contains:
Erythromycin 350 mg


For oral administration via drinking water.
Poultry: 1000 gm per 1500-2000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
For cattle is 1 gm/15-20 kg body weight, once or twice daily for 3-5 days.
