Gentamicin is an antibiotic active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Shigella spp, etc.

In veterinary medicine, GENTAIZER 50% powder is typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is used to treatment of animals suffering from sepsis, arthritis and in cases of diseases of the digestive system (gastritis, enteritis, peritonitis), respiratory (tonsillitis, tracheitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia) and the urogenital tract (nephritis, pyelitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, urocystites, metritis, mastitis) of the skin
(dermatitis), and in case of secondary infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to gentamicin and ofloxacin.
Poultry treatment of septicemia, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis caused by microorganisms sensitive to gentamicin.

Each 1 gm contains:
Gentamicin 500 mg

For oral administration:
Calves less than one year, pigs-1 gm of the drug per 100 kg of bodyweight;
Poultry (broilers and breeding herds)-50 gm per 1000 liter of drinking water.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water
should be used
within 24 hours.

For meat:
Calves, goats and sheep: 14 days.
Swine: 8 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
