Florfenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic active against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
In veterinary medicine, MAIFLOR-30 is typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is active against E. coli and Salmonella infections in poultry. In pigs acts against commonly isolated pathogens involved in swine respiratory disease, including Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis and Streptococcus.
Each 1 ml contains:
Florfenicol 300 mg
For oral administration via drinking water.
Poultry: 1 litre per 1000 litres of drinking water for 3 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.
Poultry: 7 days.
Calves and pigs: 7 days.
