NEOIZER 25% powder is aminoglycoside antibiotic acts against bacteria e.g. Escherichia coli, effective treatment of enteric infections caused by bacteria sensitive to neomycin
In veterinary medicine, NEOIZER 25% powder is typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is used to treatment of bacterial enteritis in calves, sheep, goats, swine and poultry caused by bacteria susceptible to neomycin, such as E. coli, Salmonella and Campylobacter spp.
Each 1 gm contains:
Neomycin 250 mg
For oral administration:
Calves, goats and sheep: 1 gm neomycin sulphate per 25 kg bodyweight for 3-5 days.
Poultry and swine: 800-1000 g, per 2000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.
For meat:
Calves, goats, sheep and swine: 21 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
