PARAMINOD is used to treat bacterial infections in farm animals and poultry caused by Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria, such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Pasteurella.
Each 1 gm contains:
Paromomycin 70 mg
For oral administration via feed or drinking water.
Cattle: 7.5-10 gm per 100 kg bodyweight during 1 day.
Sheep, goats: 40 gm per 40 kg bodyweight during 1 day.
Poultry, pigs: 1 kg per 1,000 litres of drinking water during 1 day.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
