Description
Oxytetracycline and Sulphadimetoxin sodium acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Vitamins are essential for the proper operation of several physiological functions.
Indications
In veterinary medicine, SULFA-TERRA powder is typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is used to treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary infections caused by oxytetracyclin sensitive micro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in calves, goats, sheep, poultry and swine.
Composition
Each 1 gm contains:
Sulphadimetoxin sodium 500 mg
Oxytetracycline HCL 150 mg
Vitamin A 10.000 lU
Vitamin C 12 mg
Dosage
For oral administration:
Poultry and swine: Treatment: 1 kg per 1000 litres of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Calves, sheep and goats: 1 gm per 5 kg bodyweight during 5-7 days.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
