SULPHA TRIZER is a combination of trimethoprim and sulphadiazine acts
against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
In veterinary medicine, SULPHA TRIZER is typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is effective against primary and secondary bacterial infections caused by bacteria which are susceptible to trimethoprim and sulphadiazine like respiratory infections, intestinal infections, urogenital infections, skin infections and coccidiosis in pigs, lambs, calves and poultry.
Each 1 ml contains:
Sulphamethoxazole 400 mg
Trimethoprim 80 mg
For oral administration via drinking water.
Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 5 ml per 100 kg bodyweight for 4-7 days.
Poultry and swine: 1 litre per 1500-2500 litres of drinking water for 4-7 days.
Shake well before use.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.
For meat:
Calves, sheep, goats and swine: 8 days.
Poultry: 5 days.
