Description

Chlortetracycline is a broad spectrum antimicrobial acts against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, like Salmonella and Pasteurella spp.

Indications

In veterinary medicine, TETRAKLOR powder is typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry.
It is used to treatment of primary and secondary bacterial gastrointestinal infections and treatment of primary and secondary bacterial respiratory infections in poultry (Mycoplasmosis, CRD); non-specific enteritis hexamitiasis and infectious sinusitis in poultry. TETRAKLOR used to treat infections caused by Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, Spirochetes and Chlamidia.

Composition

Each 1 gm contains:
Chlortetracycline 600 mg

Dosage

For oral administration:
Poultry: 1000 gm per 3000 litres of drinking water during 4-5 days.
Calves and Lambs: 1 gm per 30 kg bodyweight daily, during 4-5 days.
Pigs: 150 gm per 300 litres of drinking water during 4-5 days.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
