TILIZER-30 is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic. It is effective against Mycoplasma, Pasteurella
and Haemophilus spp. and various Gram-positive organisms such as Corynebacterium spp.
In veterinary medicine, TILIZER-30 typically administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is indicated for the control and treatment of respiratory infections associated with tilmicosin-susceptible
micro-organisms such as Mycoplasma spp. Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Actinomyces pyogenes and Mannheimia haemolytica in calves, chickens, turkeys and swine.
Each 1 ml contains:
Tilmicosin 300 mg
For oral administration via drinking water.
Calves: Twice daily, 1 ml per 20-22 kg bodyweight via (artificial) milk for 3-5 days.
Poultry: 250-300 ml per 1000 litres of drinking water for 3 days.
Swine: 700-800 ml per 1000 litres of drinking water for 5 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves and lambs only.
For meat:
Calves, pigs: 14 days.
Poultry, turkeys: 12 days.
