GENTAIZER 50% is a veterinary antibiotic formulation containing Gentamicin 500 mg/g, specifically developed for the treatment and control of bacterial infections in livestock and poultry. As a broad-spectrum antibiotic, it is highly effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including common pathogens such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and Shigella spp.. These bacteria are often responsible for respiratory, intestinal, and systemic infections that can lead to reduced growth, poor feed conversion, and increased mortality in farm animals.

 

GENTAIZER 50% powder is a veterinary antibiotic containing Gentamicin 500 mg/g, commonly administered orally to cattle, pigs, and poultry. It is indicated for the treatment of sepsis, arthritis, and diseases affecting the digestive system (gastritis, enteritis, peritonitis), respiratory system (tonsillitis, tracheitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia), and urogenital tract (nephritis, pyelitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, urocystitis, metritis, mastitis). It is also effective in treating skin infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, helping restore animal health, reduce mortality, and support overall growth and productivity in livestock and poultry.

Each 1 gm contains:
Gentamicin 500 mg
For oral administration:
Calves less than one year, pigs-1 gm of the drug per 100 kg of bodyweight;
Poultry (broilers and breeding herds)-50 gm per 1000 liter of drinking water.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water
should be used
within 24 hours.
For meat:
Calves, goats and sheep: 14 days.
Swine: 8 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
